His asking price is pretty astronomical if it needs the amount of work you say it does. Like I said, I'm not talking up a rust bucket I've never seen, but those prices you've given are 1985 prices. You say $100 for fastback Barracuda glass? I want to live on that planet man.

Well, one person got a deal I guess. Ever try finding a CLEAN fastback decklid without rust on the lip? I scoured the globe for 6 months and finally scored one for $500, and I considered that a deal. I paid $375 for a restored full set of 67-only tail panel trim. My point being clean parts for these cars are pretty rare, and pricey when found in good condition. Those particular parts look like they sat at the bottom of a lake for a few decades.
