Hi everyone. My buddies have been members for a while so I finally joined. I have a 1977 Cordoba that the buddies and I have been workin on for a few years. It has made 2 trips to the Mopar Nats 2011 & 2012. We pulled out the stock 400 engine and we're gettin ready to install a slightly built 440. I just had the trans. rebuilt and it has a manual shift body and a 2500 stall converter. I'm gettin anxious to see what it's gonna run like. I will post some pictures as soon as I can. Thanks for having me in your group.:icon_thumright:

Welcome

Welcome to FBBO, Glad You Joined, :VB toast: Always look forward to Pics, :eek:s_dancing2:

There's a 77 'doba at a JY near me. If you need any trinkets, let me know.

I'm getting the running 400/727 to start a 451 build.

It's brown/tan with nice quarters and a nice PS door- hit fairly hard in front/DS.

welcome its about time you joined the madness great people on this site bob

Pics of the Dobie...

So Razreddobie (Bruce) is a very good friend of mine (as is Mr B.), I am the more computer savy of the group, so I get to post pics for my buds.. Brucie and Bob (mr b) are the two of my friends most responsible for helping me get my Dart restored, so I dont mind posting pics for them LOL ... Heres Bruce's 'Dobie'... enjoy the car **** folks...the burnout pics are from the Mopar Nationals 2 years ago, the last pic is all of our cars (my Dart, Bobs 63 Fury, Cisco's 69 GTX, and Brucies Dobie) last Fathers Day...

Very nice! Never seen a quarter window on a Cordoba like that. Is it stock or custom.

The window is stock... the roof cap (that goes over the quarter glass) is from a Charger

My buddy gave you the short version here is the long. It's a fiberglass roof cap that I got off a '77 Charger I got for parts. I found out at the Nats last year that it's a kinda rare option that came on '77 Charger SE's only. I had it padded & recovered so the opera lights would look right. I think it looks really good on the car.
