Just picked up a 70 coronet 440 project from arkansas. Going to need lots of help with this one so am happy this site exists. Came over from A bodies only. Have a 63 Dart also. Have to have the coronet media blasted and then the fun starts. I would love to find a title and vin tags from a superbee or a coronet r/t. If anyone has some they want to sell I would be very interested. I am going to make a post also. Thanks again for the awesome site and all the good mopar people on it.
 
I have a buddy that could help you. He lives in MN too. No, he doesnt have a VIN, but he'd love to come over smack the shi! out of ya though. PM me.

Guess I didnt realize that it was such a big deal. Maybe I wont do that then. Dad Had a sublime superbee back in the day and I always wanted to have one. I guess if I just keep the title and tags a 440 car and make it look like a super bee would that be alright?
 
a clone is fine , switching VIN tags is ILLEGAL !

but welcome any way , stick around and you can learn a LOT about this very subject and many others
 
I am not sure how to delete posts yet or I would. Didnt mean to get anyone angry.
 
There has been other post about people looking for vin and fender tags, it's very illegal and could get you thrown in jail with a felony.
People doing this have been busted down the road trying to sell the car.
Maybe you didn't know or maybe you do either way even thinking about that could get you struck down by lightning or something.
On another note clones are fine, make it look like anything you want and have fun with it.

don't worry about it being a clone, leave the VIN how it is, only the total 100% purists will care anyway, build it how you want it, screw the rest...
 
Welcome to the site! I had a 70 coronet 440 I cloned into a bee and absolutely loved it, plus 95% of people just thought it was a cool car.

Ask away this board is very helpful.
