late model console retrofit into 68 charger?

My 68 already has late model Sebring seats in it.* i want to change out my original 68 console for something that looks better, has cup holders, functional arm rest (high). id also like it to kick up in the front to meet the bottom of the dash.* i like that look and it could house an aftermarket stereo, speakers, etc.

while alot of guys have done some incredible work on custom one-off consoles, id rather have more of a factory look....clearly not old factory...just more finished.* ive seen some late model consoles on ebay, most for about 100 bucks.* they would require some "field fabrication" but thats ok.*

has anyone done this?* i searched all over and i cant find many pics.* Any ideas on something thats close already?*

i did, thanks for the tip. its a nice looking console but i dont see cup holders and it doesnt kick up in the front to meet the dash.

Was looking at the console in our '96 intrepid and was thinking if it would work for your application also.

That's what I'm looking for (Magnum/Cordoba console) so I can customize it with both the cup holders and the front swooping up to meet the dash!

I'll be watching to see what you come up with!

ahhh...see, the magnum one I found a pic of didn't have that super deluxe command bezel that goes to the dash....hmm..

as for the intrepid, that's on my list of possibilities. 1st pic is an LHS console, which is very close to intrepid. 2nd one is Nissan Altima

I ended up with a chrysler 200 console...

has a nice spot for gauges, usb, and 2 12v power ports. same exact width as my stock 68 console. I'm sure some trimming will be required and I'll have to get creative with shifter, but overall it should be a close fit.

as for the E brake spot, I was almost thinking of locating the Ebrake that should go there. mine is disconnected right now because I never got around to routing the cables through my subframe connectors. This would solve that problem lol.. or I'll put a blank plate under it and use it like a little cubby.
