Stupid Laws

You don't have to look too hard to find stupid laws on the books. As an example; it's against the law for married heterosexual couples to have oral sex in 18 states. Just one of many thousands of dumb laws around the country.

I know. Georgia is one of them. But I'm breakin the law, breakin the law. As Judas Priest would say.

I think our US flag and our military flags look great and mean something special to real Americans, I say fly them proudly and to hell with anybody that says otherwise.
 
It's not necessarily a stupid law. It just wasn't thought out properly. According to the report, the US flag, state flag & POW flag were exempted. They never thought to include the military service flags. Kudo's to the city council for holding an emergency meeting to discuss & deal with the issue.

As another Judas Priest fan, may I say that that "Electric Eye", from 1982, was very prophetic about Britain's use of cameras on the citizenry.
Re: The flag. I have seen this argument before. It was over a Marine, and the "condo-nazi's", that claimed only a U.S. flag was ok, not a USMC flag here in Michigan. Since it was a residence, I believed he got a"freedom of expression" win. Not sure if that applies to a business.
Just an FYI. If you are using multiple poles, the pole for the U.S. flag must be the tallest.

Stupid law that just passed in BC here is any couple living together for 2 years or more are considered common law, so if you have a nasty break up with your girlfriend that you've been living with she is entitled to half your stuff/bank account. You don't even have to be married! You actually have to sign a prenup if you plan on living with your girlfriend and don't want her to take half your stuff in case of a break up. How ridiculous is that?!
