B Body stiffening

I dropped off my seats, door panels, and a few other items at the upholstery shop yesterday to get that stuff going. I had in my mind a different shade of blue leather than what the color actually turned out to be. Too long since I looked st it I guess.
Anyway, my original plan was to paint the car B-5 Blue but i don't think it will look right with this leather. I looked at every sample these guys had....and there were TONS...and this is the nicest shade.
So now I am thinking B-7Jamaica Blue instead. I always liked that color anyway and you don't see a ton of cars painted that color.
What do you all think??
Does this site have a "poll" feature??

yes it's near the bottom in the advanced comment area

At this point the body work is almost done. Lizard skin is being applied everywhere and foam insulation is being applied in the C pillars and door post cavities. This car is going to be quiet.
Having a hard time finding the correct color of blue leather for the interior. Not much real leather blue colors work with B-5. I'm going to a hide tanning store in Napa this week to see if they have something.

It was a long search but I finally found a shade of blue leather I can live with that goes well with B-5 blue!IMG_1266.jpg

Got color!!!

It's not the whole car but..... Here is what we have done with the underside. The Alterktion and the rear axle housing will be B-5 also.
We have Lizzard skin heat AND sound deadening spray under 3M Body Schutz rubberized undercoating

These pics were taken outside so they are kind of bright. I'll see about some more when we get it back under cover.

So when can we expect some burnout pix?

Well Greg, I'm thinking you will be one of if not the first club member I contact once this thing is rolling. I want you to drive the alterktion/4 link suspension and see what you think.

Love that b-5 on the frame it really pops against the black lizard skin. Great job!!!

Color!

Engine bay color! Finally. Starting to get real excited again. It has been a long slow couple of years waiting to be able to get back into this project.
