I have for sale an original, unrestored 1967-1969 Sunoco Blend O Matic Gas Pump. For those of us old enough, the only gas we put in our rides was Sunoco 260, the highest octane available. This pump must have been under a protective roof. All paint and stencils are original with only a few tiny rust spots at the top of the yellow side panels. Everything works! All the ceramic fuel grade buttons are perfect with no cracks. The chrome is perfect. The flourescent tubes can be turned on with a switch and it looks fantastic at nigh in your garage or outside. The pump mechanism has been removed but it still weighs about 175 lbs. Pick up only in the Conshochocken area. These restored, are selling at mecum auctions for $6000.00!
Price $2500.00

Send me a PM with your email and I will send photos. Thanks for looking.

Aw, come on, we need a pic here.

That was the first pump I really took notice of as a kid in the early 70's.

We ran 240 in my mom's 67 Newport 383.

If the pic is loaded in your computer, it's easy. Look at the icons above the message box, the 3rd one from the right looks like a picture frame, click that one. You will then see an Insert Image box appear. Click from computer and select file, this should allow you to go to your pic and double click. It should appear in the box, then click Upload File. Now hit Post Quick Reply and the pic will be added to your post, give it a try....

WOW man is right .. that is super cool and brings back memories

I will tell you honestly that I paid $2500 for the pump but will entertain serious offers. My daughter is getting married and I need to generate some cash. Thanks for looking.

Hmm, I remember a selector with a pointer, on the side of the pump...and ours were blue.

Perhaps a different vintage, but I would have though late 80s would have been about right.

The selector with the pointer for the different grades is on the side. Additionally there is a plaque on the side indicating this fuel contains LEAD. The late 80's were unleaded ful already. Unleaded gasoline was mandated starting with the 1975 model year. As I said this pump is from the 67-69 time period. The serial number tag verifies that.

I just read through my post and realized I mispoke. I paid $2750 for the pump and would like $2500 or a serious offer. Thanks

Love those old pumps brings back memories when I was a teenager

I worked in a Sunoco station when I was a teenager. There was always to camps. The guys that argued American (Amoco) white gas which was their high octane stuff was better than Sunoco 260. 260 was the highest octane gas you could buy on the street. It was 102 octane. I believe American was 101. Sunoco is a Philly based company, so it was home grown shere I lived.

That's the one I remember.

Graet pics guys, and thanks for bringing back those memories.

congrats on your sale :headbang:

Sold sold sold!

Two guys came to pick up the pump today. They had a Chevy van, no handtruck and just a blanket down in the back. They walked it to the back of the van and proceeded to hoist and push it in. They broke the glass on the side that was against the blanket! I would love to see the look on the bosses face who bought the pump when they tell him. I spent a couple of hours trying to help them out on the internet. Found nothing. Have no idea where they are going to get another piece? It is not reproduced!
