My great grandpa brought this home back in '65 after his passing away it was transfered to my grandpa. After sitting in his barn for decades well since '83 I asked him if I could buy it from him (back in 2010) long story short I was there to pick it up a few hours later. Just basic maintence and have been enjoying driving her around since then and saving up money. This is my first post on here so I hope everything looks alright. Everything is original except new brakes, waterpump, gas tank, weatherstripping, and I traded my steelies for some old cragars. Hope everyone enjoys!

What car??? I dont see anything.

Cool car ,except for the 6cyl it's a twin to the one I am working on.

Yeah that was my bad I edited some text and i'm guessing it had to be approved

I see it now, and I like it. It's a good foundation to build or just use it as is.

Welcome!! what a great thing to happen. an "all orig" 64 2 dr post! not that many around anymore in that condition. Enjoy!!

I got to looking at the pictures you sent. looks like a 330 steering wheel and the tail lights say 330, yet the trim is 440 and the front door arm rests, with radio delete. Not that it matters, it's still very cool and i do know from my 64 parts book, you could order these cars just about any way you wanted them. I'm curious what the glove box door badge is and if the title calls out a 440? Again, congrats on the score!!

Great car indeed, also as stated above a rare model ( 440 2 dr. sedan ) . Been going to car shows with mine now close to 3 yrs. and haven't seen another. Good Luck with it you have a gem .

Same steering wheel and rear lights as my 440 has. The Polara model has (3) rear lights on each side. Also I believe the Polara model has a full horn ring on the steering wheel .

440 on the dash and title. I'll post some more pictures when I get back to work tonight. Thanks for all the compliments. Great grandpa had good taste, my grandpa and aunts/uncle used it as a fishing wagon, found some old weights and hooks when I cleaned out the truck.

First 2 pics are from when I picked it up out of the barn. The red car is from a Goodguys show in Denver a year or 2 ago I haven't seen it on here before so I figured I would share, and someone wanted a glovebox shot.

That's a great score! Cleaned up really nice after setting all that time. If it was mine I wouldn't change it! Nothing major anyway. It's only original once!! Remember your
grandparents and enjoy it at the same time!

Great save! Good job!! and again congrats, the legacy makes it even more special!

hi and welcome to the site nice dodge :headbang:

Great car! - I have the identical car, color and all, but 4 doors with a 318, out of dry Denver CO... the color 50th Anniversary Gold, if you didn't know, very common color for '64. I"d keep it as is, and drive!

Nice car- reminds me of my first car...a '64 330 2-door post.

That car is in great shape ! Nice score and welcome to the site. Ron

cool car with a great story! Proudly display your piece of family history.

Thanks everyone for the compliments and welcoming me to the site, I'll bring ya more updates when I can. Nothing major just some minor rust under the rear window trim, and getting some tunes in the car nothing special just the under dash speaker and 2 in the package tray. Thats all I i have planned for her, for a while anyways. Again, thanks everyone.
