I just purchased a 68 GTX yesterday with a 440 4 spped. I will be asking lots of questions which I hope is ok. I am in the learning process and always wanted a nicer car than my first mopar purchase.

Thanks in advance for all your help. My purchase is below:

Nice car you got there, welcome.

Welcome Rocketman that's a sweet ride man.

also, whitenuckler don't sell yourself short what with that post today on your suspension upgrades.

Very nice looking car, good luck with whichever direction you are going down.

Very nice and it appears to be ready to go.

Well that is a yes and no. I bought it, drove it home 100 miles, it did not get hot, did not smoke or burn oil, but here is a list of things that need to be done in my mind:

1. steering box -manual- has some play
2 cover- already ordered
3. GTX embroidered floor mats
4. Leak in manifold, may go with headers
5. window gear passenger side- skips when rolling window up or down
6. high low beam indicator- previous owner could not find
7. SEAT track extenders- THIS is very important as I am 6'4" and riding position is very uncomfortable in town.
8. Hurst gear shift swap for the inland currently in car.
9. Find spare wheel tire plus trunk bracket.

I think that is it for now until I start the head, high rise, cam work to get that sound going.

Welcome to the site. There are a lot a decent people here willing to answer any questions you have. Oh - and nice looking GTX.
