I need to get floor mats for the Charger. I thought about buying some of the cheap clear vinyl so that they look retro.

But I am concerned they are light enough that they will move around while driving and get into the pedals. So another option is the heavy Weathertech AVM® All-Vehicle Mats. I would have to go with black. But they look heavy enough that they would not move around when driving.

The neighbors Prius.

Nice!...:headbang:

If those clear mats look like everything else I've seen lately, they will have a 'bluish' tint to them...and not look so retro. If you want retro, go with mats that are 'flat' and color matched to the carpet. If you want something that will actually keep the carpet clean and stay in place, look for mats with deeper grooves, a lip around the edge, and LOTS of 'teets' on the back to dig into the carpet and hold them in place.

These have worked well for me and I was able to cut a slot in one to fit around the foot feed (gas pedal).

Oh, and any mats with carpet 'built in' just holds dirt and odors.

Wish I could afford the nice embroirdered ones, but for $120+ they're not in my budget.

I've been meaning to some floormats for my ride. Maybe I'll go look at autozone tomorrow.

You need some yosemite sam back off floor mats!!!! hahahaha those were popular back in the 80s, but it doesnt look like anyone makes them anymore!

I am using some super bee Mats that do slide up to the gas pedal.i put a rubber pad under it that is made for cushioning items in a cabinet.that keeps them from sliding.

You can get cheap clear vinyl floor mats that have over sized spikes/grips or whatever they're called on them so they dig into the carpet and don't move around, not sure where you can find them but shouldn't be too hard.

you could always do what my grandpa liked to do and cut a piece of carpet or outdoor rubber mat to your desired shape ;)
