Have a recently purchased 70 RR with the Rally Dash. Probably the best looking dash of all the 60's & 70's muscle cars I think. (just my opinion...) Anyway finding out the the gauges are not the most accuate at best. Never understood the Amp gauge......always thought that a volt gauge was better (for me anyway).....Have always been a user of full sweep aftermarket gauges...very accuate and easy to read with a quick glance. I recent years they have also gotten smaller. Was wondering if anyone has been able to figure out a way to replace the factory gauges with new aftermarket full sweep gauges in a 70 Rally Dash.....( oil pressure, temp, replace the amp gauge with a volt meter.....not sure if one could replace the fuel gauge or not). Again I am not talking about replacing the whole cluster with a custom one but just replacing the gauges.....I have seen examples of nice looking custom clusters but again I want to keep the original rally cluster panel with aftermarket gauges in place of the old ones........ If someone has done this could you post info and photos about how you did it with any problems you ran into doing the change and how you solved those problems. I am sure I am not the only Mopar owner with a rally dash interested in this. Second qustion.... is is there a company that does this anywhere?
