I need something to keep a 500+ inch street motor cool in texas heat. Anyone had success with something similar in Texas

Green coolant. 180 superstat from Napa. Factory 26" copper radiator, clutch fan and shroud. Mancini Billet thermostat housing.

Not Texas, but 107 degrees all day long in Reno. Ma Mopar knew how to cool.

Forgot, I did have it recored to a 4 row and played around with the fan clearance. Under an inch.

I fought overheating issues for six months with a champion radiator and switched to a griffin muscle car with two rows of 1.25 tubes and no more problem. 500 inch indy headed solid roller motor.

A bit pricy, but Glen-Ray built me a 3-Row max cooling 26" radiator with original 054 tanks. The all new versions with reproduction tanks are a bit more.
I ran my 505" stroker in 100 degree temps, low humidity, and high altitude (Denver, Colorado) with no overheating problems at all.

I got 26" rad from Bob at Glen-Ray also. Saved a bit of money by not having the part number stamped on it; i.e. not a reproduction. I use a factory shroud. Keeps my 500" stroker cool.
