Just registered and posted WTB for 69 Roadrunner. I flew helicopters in the Army. Finished flight school in October 1969. Went home and bought a 69 RR in Vitamin C with white interior, 383 / 727. My first new car. Spent 6 months at Ft. Hood and then off to Vietnam. When I returned I sold my RR. Would really like to replace it.
Have also owned a 66 Coronet 440, gold with white interior, 383 / 4 speed. Miss them both.
 
Welcome. Your story sounds like one a good friend of mine has. He had a 68 RR before Uncle Sam invited him to go to Vietnam. When he returned he bought a brand new 71 Cuda. Now all he has is the pictures and memories. Good luck on your search.
