Stuck in the past, just North of Montana....
A short time ago I acquired my first classic Mopar, a 1976 Swinger, as a project. Shortly after that I found and bought a 1972 Demon and traded the Swinger to a friend for some parts. I started collecting parts for the Demon, until I came accross a 1973 340 Duster. Well I bought that and the 1971 Scamp that was there too. OK now I had to do something. I got the Scamp back on the road and was in the deciding stage of which car to do next. That was when I remembered a car I had seen 15 or so years before. I only recalled it was a Coronet. Sooooo, I went for a cruise and the car was still in the field, a 1966 Coronet 440. Ya I bought it too. Long story long, Hi my name is George and I am a Mopar addict. IMAG0561.jpg

Nowhere in the rules does it say they have to be fully restored to count as a "collection".

More pics and options please.

I'm on my 4th 66/67 Coronet 440, but stuck in the "deciding stage" on driver or full resto.

In the meantime, I've been on a 72-74 diversion, which has become somewhat chronic in it's self.

I'm also gathering info for a registry of 66 440 trim 383-4 cars, if yours happens to fall into that category.

Hi George! Welcome to the club. :)

I've seen a lot worse cars sitting in a field, you could have a nice start there. Good luck with the build...

Welcome to the dark side...LOL... welcome to FBBO

Thanx guys for the warm welcome. This is a /6 car, so I'm considering doing a 440 but keeping it automatic for comfort. As for the color, well it is sort of a light green under the hood. I don't know what it is called. Here's the tag.
Edit: After a quick search I found out it is Gold Metallic paint. Huh, my Scamp is Tawny Gold.......

Welcome! I have a similar problem, not so much with cars as I only have so much room (and an unappreciative wife), but when it comes to knick knacks for the garage, I can't help myself!

Welcome, I'm just south of you in Bigfork Mt, and I'm also an addict. As I tell my wife, there are worse things to be addicted to.
