Here's some pics of a factory '64 lightweight 330 Dodge I took this morning at our sunday morning cruise. The gentleman who owned it prior to the owner now...owned it for years, in fact I used to go to the junkyards on a regular basis (with my Coronet...I've always used it as a truck), anyways I used to see this very same car several times a week at the yards too...I'd ocassionally park next to it, and every once in a while chat with the guy who owned it. At the time it was running a 383 with a primered front clip....I had no idea that it was a lightweight Dodge, the guy never mentioned it either....the car was always loaded with junkyard finds.
The guy ended up selling the car to the current owner several years ago...he had no idea what it was either...the original fenders/lightweight pieces were safely tucked away in the garage, and were later installed. When the current owner took out the backseat he found these original 1964 Michigan license plates that were wired together.
