Here's a few shots of a factory Hemi/auto. w/sunroof '71 Charger R/T owned by a Sheikh from Qatar. A friends shop (I used to work at ) here in Los Angeles is restoring 10 cars for him, several Hemi cars and also a '71 383 Super Bee (the plate pictured).
The guy owns over 2,000 cars...yes 2,000!!. And he even sent him a '73 Chevy pick up to restore to factory condition....I think it was his first vehicle as a teen.
All the cars are full of sand from Qatar, (as you can see in the pics), and it's like baby powder....and it's EVERYWHERE!!. 011.jpg012.jpg013.jpg014.jpg015.jpg

That's cool. I just got back from a deployment from there. I didn't get to see any of these :)

quite a few mopars around down here:hello2:

Oh, man!

Wait...that's the next country over...

I'm confused about this Charger. I looked at the pictures in the link that shows the car restored. The car has an A/C dash but Hemi cars didn't come with A/C? I wonder if aftermarket A/C was added and the compressor is hidden under the alternator? I'm sure A/C is needed in Qatar.

It probably has Stato Ventilation not A/C.

Qatar likes us enough to let us launch most of our missions from there until we get a foothold in whatever country we are trying to change the regime of.

...and I've pronounced at as "Ka-Tar" since the 80's when I went to school with a 50% Air Force brat population, because that's what they said.

I'm not sure where "Cutter" came from. I still hear "Ka-Tar" in higher end journalism.

Ron.

Correct Ron - It is a Strato Vent car.
Pic on Moparts shows no vent on the very right side of the panel.
