Hello,
I can't seem to find a pair of new after market front rotors for my 68 dodge coronet RT(factory front disk brakes). Tried all the usual part stores (pep boys, autozone, o'reilly's...). Checked out Centric brakes, Jegs, Summit Racing, Classic Industries, and others. Helpppp....I can't be the only one having trouble locating. Any help where to purchase, is much appreciated.

I replaced mine with a set from Summit just 3 months ago....

After they arrived, my Brake Guru told me he wouldn't have gone for cross-drilled, but they look and work great.
Also, they only come with Right-Hand studs - so if you are running lefties, you'll need to source alternate studs, as these rotors have a different depth on the hub. It's far easier to just go with all RH studs.

You get FREE SHIPPING with these ones also

Do you drive it much?, I was wondering because it's really easy to convert to the '73 to '76 style A-body disc brakes...I swapped my Coronet's over 20 years ago, (it was the same 4 piston caliper set-up) I got sick of the 4 piston calipers leaking plus those rotors are kinda thin even when new. With this set-up you can get rotors, calipers and brake pads at any auto parts store, I've done at least 50 of these swaps..

I think once it's done, I will be driving it alot. After looking around for these parts for front disks, I'm up for your suggestion in converting them. Do you have easy instructions or sites that show me how to convert? I definitely up for doing this. Thanks for your thoughts, I really appreciate it.

If you can find a donor car '73-'76 a-body with disc brakes, I'd get the spindles, dust shields, caliper adaptors, banjo bolts, (that holds the brake line to the caliper)...from there you can get rotors, calipers, bearings, & seals all brand new, since you're gonna have to mount the calipers to the rear to clear you swaybar brackets, I'd get a pair of brand new rubber front brake lines for a '78 Cordoba. You can even get a decent complete set off of a car, spindles, rotors, calipers, just check and reapack the bearings and get some new pads,I'd always get the new rubber brake lines as mentioned. You can also use spindles off of Aspens/Volares, Diplomats etc.....they are a litttle taller but they do work, and they're easier to find at the yards...the Volares and Aspens use a slightly larger piston in the caliper too....those calipers can be swapped to the a-body spindles too. you can message me if you have questions I can help you with.

Looks like finding a donor car isn't so easy her in Las Vegas. Can the factory front disks be upgraded vs converting?
