"30k actual miles. 318 CID, Slap Stick Automatic with the center console. Has hidden cd player in the glove box so the dash is still intact. It is so untouched the rear drums still have the factory retainer clips on the drums."

I just consigned it to a "petersencollectorcars" auction. I am #5 .. I really would like about 10k for it but am asking for everyone opinion on what its worth so I can set the reserve accordingly. High value on Hemmings Motor News in a 2007 article was 12k :icon_winkle:

Might get 10k. I,m a cheap bastard and i,d give about 8 for it.

Interesting that the emblems don't say "Sebring".

I'd love to know the logic behind the placement of those emblems.

I've seen both fender and C pillar on both vinyl and non-vinyl top cars.

I wonder if it was an assembly plant thing.

I believe mine is a St Louis car, what's yours?

Is that the original paint?

Mine is a base Satellite, and almost but not quite as nice.
Bench seat (green) 318, floor mat a/c (working) std dash car in EW1.
One repaint but they did a really good job matching the factory enamel sheen.
It's got a couple of dings and some touch ups.
Two little repairs where the quarters meet the rockers, but other than that super SUPER solid. Bought it from the second owner at 55,000 miles last year for 4K (down from 7).
Yours is better colors and better options (vinyl is arguable, though) with fewer miles.

There was a B1 400 car but bench seat that couldn't sell for 9-10 last year.
There was also a solid, but maybe not as nice B5 72 RR 340 a/c bench car that went in the 11K range, and a SUPER NICE 73 318 RR that had trouble at 14K.
Those were just in my neighborhood, though.

Nice car- GLWS.

:argue:i like yours (THE RED ONE) better. good luck with the sale!

SOLD to daredevil !!! will that be cash or check?

:the penguin:

I'm setting the auction reserve at 8K so the first 8 here gets it

???

Mike..

The car was built in Canada and yes, that is the original Rally Red paint :eusa_clap:

I would think YY1's $4k would be more in the ballpark. I've seen much nicer Road Runners listed at $8k-$9k and being for sale for quite a while. But, you know what they say about suckers, and maybe you'll get lucky. :)

Come on now, Bru, that's a damn nice car...and 30K miles!!

If I had an extra 8k I would buy it in a heart beat. 30,000 miles on a 40 year old car is not very common. You should get 8K for it and the person that gets it will be lucky.

It looks to be a nice car.......but with only ONE picture, it makes it impossible to state an opinion on what it's worth.
One major setback is the fact that it is not a "Satellite Sebring Plus" BB 400 car.

A dozen pictures on the link above..

Mike.

After looking at the pics, that's a VERY clean B-body!
GLWS

Still available ..:sideways tongue:

High bid of $6k @ auction .. I couldn't let it go for that.

I'm gonna hop it up and drive it ..
:3gears:

Any interest?

Mike..

Drive it and put an $8250 sign in the window.

Drive it to cruise-ins. Good exposure.

Put the hipo parts on it and keep the originals in the trunk.
