Anyone ever heard of radar red?

Yep, back in the "old" days red cars attracted police like crazy......hey maybe that's the reason I am not big fan of red cars..........LOL

I think its a new mopar color, on the new cars.

I've had a lot of Red cars and as long as I've been sensible I've had no more trouble with them than any other color. I have been pulled over in red cars my police officers that wanted to check out my car and talk to me about them though .. I don't recall that happening in another color though.

Radar Red

"Radar Red" is a Dodge color. Plymouth called it "Catch Me, Arrest Me Red".:angel7:

Sort of like "Plumb Crazy" and "In Violet". Same color, different name.

Hmm, I had a girl call my top banana Super Bee "arrest me yellow", so that's what I started calling it.

Even traffic ticket statistics show red cars get pulled over a ton more than every other color combined. Learned that in a "court-ordered traffic class" long ago, lol.

If bright red is a cop attractor, then most of the HIP colors are at least scientifically WAY WORSE. Bright blues, greens, oranges and yellows can be seen much easier than reds.

Plum crazy, OTOH, is somewhat of a stealth HIP color.

Was your daughter at a trailer park party off I-4 in 1990?

My ex's in Texas

Yes she probably was!!!!!! Her mother could have been there too when I was at work!!!

That's one of the many reasons her mom is the "ex" now. LOL

Her mom did me a BIG favor when they all left back in '93.

life has been GREAT since then.

I agree the high impact colors are a lot easier to see than red.

I know Red is more visible from an Airplane because back in 1984 when they used to monitor speed by aircraft on a stretch of interstate north of here I got pulled over for doing 79.9 in a 55 zone, good thing they didn't catch me earlier when I was doing 90!!!!
