Are they worth anything? 383 two barrel, 95k miles with bucket seats, auto with console on the floor. It's all there but the front grille. Body pretty nice. I didn't think they were worth much, but I am not sure. Any ideas????

The 68 Monaco 500 was the last year for the US made model 500 and with that being said they only made 3400 of them. The 383 2 bbl. was the standard factory engine unless its the 383 HP which was an option as was the 440 2 bbl and the 440 magnum. Value is based on condition and options, just like any other car. The one I have is loaded with options as well as the 383HP, console, bucket seats, A/C, power driver seat, power windows, Vinyl roof, power locks, factory 4 piston disk brakes with 15" wheels, AM -8 track radio, full tinted glass, 26" radiator, Remote trunk release, rear speakers, Tilt/Telescoping steering, passenger outside mirror, Fender mounted turn signal indicators and a few other items. Rule of thumb that after 30 years there are probably only 10% of the original 3400 left which leaves 340 world wide......I guess you could say thay are worth something. I have been offered in the high teens for mine and that was before having the new vinyl roof installed and installing a new dash pad. Every time one gets used for a derby car or gets crushed the value of mine goes up.

Don't buy it as a money maker, buy it because you like it, want to restore it and plan on keeping it. If you don't buy it let me know, I might be interested in checking it out.
