Car stalled out and wouldn't restart w/out jumping

i was pulling into my driveway after a car show and it stalled, tried to restart and no juice, no clicking,etc. jumped it and it started fine..put in garage and wouldn't restart. I have noticed since i bought it, that at idle (stop light) the lights dim, and on throttle full lighting.
So i'm thinking alternator, voltage regulator??
Any help would be appreciated

Did a wire come off the starter relay on the inner fender? Or the fuseable link down to the starter fry?

so i replaced the voltage regulator...and pulled the battery out and had it checked at NAPA...low and behold it had a bad cell. I guess having a battery named "economy" should have been a sign..lol

Sounds like a bad battery for sure.
Just like a set of golf clubs i inherited as a kid ...called "Greenfinder"...they didn't work that well
