A12 air cleaner base question

I have what I think is an original A12 air cleaner base, but it does not have the rectangular surround. If it's been trimmed off it's been done well. There's a lip all the way around, except for 1 corner that does look trimmed. No jagged edges but I guess they could have been ground smooth. What do you guys think, regular A12 base or something else?

I would guess, 340 six pack air cleaner base.

That's an A-12 base the 340 six pac base is stamped different so is the shaker six pac base, google word for word Nicks garage air cleaner ID
 
That is what's left of one!! I wasn't able to copy the link to "Nicks" is it for sale??
 
center looks just like mine, real deal.. its amazing the amount of them things that turn up and are butchered. what were people trying to do.:violent1:

I need the welded on brackets where the two carb studs come through. If you're interested in selling it, please let me know.
