I was just on Mancini Racing site and saw they have a reproduction 6 pack air cleaners with correct orange and round holes for the sum of $142 just released. Anybody know anything about these as for quality ect.ect. Wondering if other vendors may be offering these, have'nt seen them any other place.

I would love to have one, (can't stand the look of the K & N) but $142 is pretty steep for an air filter.

I got one of the "new" filters. They are not perfect by any means. The metal wrap around does have a visible seam to it. but the overall fit & looks are not bad.

Damn those folks over at moparts love their little animated 'insert a smiley' gifs and mega signature lines don't they ... some good info over there but I'll be damned if I can stand to look at those threads for more than a few minutes ... again I love it here .. Nice and clean, Nice and clean, Nice and clean .. Ok I feel better now

I used to sell the CA332V Frams by the case for about $50-$55 each years ago, damn inflation i should have kept a few cases

Some douche at Carlisle was asking $900.00 for an original filter.

How about posting a couple of pictures?

I also have the new Mancini Six Pack air filter. Isn't Bouchillon the ones making it and Mancini is the retailer of it? I like the new filter (gives it the true Six Pack look), but I'm not old enough or knowledgable enough to spot the miniscule differences. But yea, that $142 was kinda steep, but I had a store credit. I will try and put some pics up the next few days.

DSC05307.jpgHere's a pix of my $142.00 air filter.....not perfect, but it'll do, It impressed the chevy guys at the last car show

I remember when the Fram CA332 was $20.00. I paid $50.00 for my K&N and for that price it looks great!

What do you think I paid for this 30 yrs ago ?:thinker:
