No $15000 paint job here!!!!

Man...love those things (early B bodies!) in Satin black! Car looks awesome.

Brian,
You think you got stiffed...check out my 63 Dodge Polara story!

4.5 years, $6,500 and I just pulled it out.

Not really. Work getting in the way.

Got the shifter installed but yanked it for the carpet and headliner.

In the process of pulling out the old headliner.

Got glass and all the gaskets a few weeks ago too.

Kinda burnt out...

I hear ya!! The little setbacks is what causes big emotions and frustrations, especially when the setbacks come from trusted family members.... Anyway, the Leadsled Spectacular is a HUGH motivator to get this thing on the road!!! I will pull the door panels and take them along with some a100 seats to the local upholstery shop, get them all recovered and install with some new carpet and a era correct rollbar/cage!! The smell of burnt rubber and alcohol burning cars is very intoxicating!!!!! Plus there are some shows coming up that are a must attend, like the Alva show in September!!!!

Looks good! I am with you on the whole pretty thing. Rather it run like hell than look like a show car.
