What did you do to your Mopar today?

Started the suspension teardown for the rebuild and upgrade to disc brakes. Got the spindles removed along with lower ball joint and upper ball joint on each side. Next will be removing the upper control arms, drag link assembly and lower control arms.

Got new 3"x14" air cleaner to fit between carb linkage and hood, barely, with 1/2" clearance total. This finishes up this season's improvements under the hood - brake booster and master cylinder from Booster Dewey, new windshield fluid and radiator overflow bottles, battery tray, battery topper, spark plug wires, hood insulation, new FirmFeel ps box. Here it is 7/22/2013....

Drove it to work this morning. Put me in a great mood- the engine rumbled, I shot past idiots going 60 in the fast lane at 80. ZZ Top cranked up on the stereo.

Man, I want to buy another Mopar so bad. Would somebody please sell me a '71-'72 RR/Satty that fits my budget? :)

Installed the original 65 sway bar on my 65 belvedere! Man, that is a weird looking piece!

Same thing I've been doing most days... Ordered parts. Ordered a new pitman arm and idler arm.

Close, The "Wooly Mammoth" {Charles's car, the Hair-Covered 70's Vega wagon from the guy on Pinks} it's his illegitimate bastard little step brother...LOL..

Sat in it, read the operations manual... marveled at all those electro-mechanical things that still work after 45 years... Started it, listened to the engine idling... :)

Oh, and quick-converted the speedo to KPH! So now I can see how fast I go...
