I don't think I even drove anywhere last week, other than my weekly cruise in my 68 RR around my neighborhood, so maybe 35mph, but at-least it was in a Mopar...LOL...

the photo says 7-21-2013, that was more than a week ago...he he ha ha

where id you drive at over 120mph in that thing ??

instant 24 hrs in jail and car impounded if you go over 100 in Oregon

I went real fast. Yesterday morning and peed a stream that was about 80 PSI. Does that count?

Don't know, but there's several folks in town that have a pretty good idea on what disappearing tail lights on a Roadrunner look like.

I hit bout 135 on saturday...i was too busy driving to take a pic though! lol (and no it wasn't the GTX...yet)

Friend stopped by in his Corvette and took me for a ride after he put on a supercharger went 115 on the side road. Not a Mopar but it was plenty fast. Did I mention I hate Corvettes but to each his own, I guess.

I think I put my m5 on about 140 going to work last week. I went into work early and there wasn't much traffic on i-75. I know where the cops set.

1977 or so, on Hwy 50, I went 135mph or so {according to my speedo} in my mostly stock 68 Charger R/T 440ci Magnum 727tf with 3.55:1 gears, back in HS, going from Placerville, El Dorado HS basketball game, back to Shingle Springs, Ponderosa HS {my school} after the game going to a dance, with my 4 friends in my old car, racing another buddy of mine in a much slower 390ci powered "hoped up" 69 Torino GT, for about 10 miles or so, what a real dumba$$, I was back then....

allot more than a week ago... BUT
I've been 227mph in the 1/4 back in 1997, match racing... also

my old 89 Camaro T/S Pro car would do 190mph @ 6.90's in the 1/4 pretty much all day long too, But my old 23 Ford Altered with a Milidon Mastodon "Hemi" 12:71 Blown on alky, just a little faster & quicker...LOL... Does that count ??

Honestly, I'm a turd. I rarely go over 75 mph, for me I just like to get to 75 mph really, really fast. I can remember many road races with my buddies when we were young and dumb, some even involving contact. So I guess a pathetic 75 mph, once the Charger is done that might change "we'll see".

I am feeling kind of "GRUMPY" today after having to deal with City Hall Clowns...another story for another time may be???...so I only have a simple response for this thread. And that is...

Does it really matter? Speed is a relative encounter in the first place. You either go fast or you don't. And most I would guess don't. I am now going for a "SOAK." Bar Tender...A round on me...

I'm with ya, I'm pretty mellow these days too, rarely over 75mph unless passing someone maybe... it really ain't worth the hassles anymore, insurance, tickets & fines etc.

130 MPH at 3800 RPM.

In my 70 383 Bee I passed a guy in a trans am GTA.

When he asked my how fast I was going, I said "the needle was bouncing on the stop past 150".

He said "no way- mine only said 135".

I guess he forgot that I was passing him!

I think that's about all that Chebby's got. I'm with some of the other guys and rarely drive more than 10 over. It takes special circumstances to get me stupid. I did do 167 in a Blown 2004 GTO once. Well over a week ago.

80 plus. On the exit ramp. Modern Mopar. It was good.

800kmh/500mph

in a Boeing 737 ;)

X2....
I'll be doing it again next Tuesday, then again on Friday,,, Heading to the Nascar Race on Sunday "driving to the track", then another again on Monday, and finally once more on Saturday....
Lots of 500 mph days.....
