I have here some dash parts for a '69 Coronet. They are from a station wagon with a standard dash. I think some of these will also fit a convertible. I have studied the internet for similar items and have found all the examples to be way over priced. Those nuts must be out of their tree or maybe I am.

please look at these photos and tell me what y'all think. If you see something you need let me know because this is the start of things to come and all these items must go.

Thanks to all for your help in advance.

IMHO, everything you've shown is worth something except the standard dash unless someone needs it. It's hard for somebody to put a price on someone else's parts. I would just put a price on what you think they are worth to you selling.
you've looked on ebay and saw their prices and thought they were high. That will give you something to go by.

I guess I must have had the wrong idea here. I was under the impression that people on this site were needing some of this stuff after all the cry babying I have read about letting these cars rot away. It is amazing how much crap a person has to take when trying to liquidate years and years of collecting. I would have though on a b-body site there would actually be someone that actually knew something about b-body items. I am also shocked by how many people on this site that constantly bitch about me "HOARDING" these cars and parts, but nobody steps up to help remedy the problem. Well to cut to the chase, I have absolutely no problem in crushing all this stuff and tons of other Mopar parts as well as cars. I have spent countless hours shrinking photos and trying to help other car buffs here, and I am at this point very disappointed. Man can not make anything that Mother Nature can not destroy. I can not stop it and neither can anyone else. I am about done trying.

Hey Trimmer, I sold a complete a/c dash with the same instrument cluster for $375 at Carlisle last month. Had all the items shown in your pics attached to it. All the guages and switches worked. Aslo had working AM radio. Hope that helps. BTW the cluster , the pads and the harnesses are usually worth the most. The Metal Frames are also worth a bit if you have it. Hope that helps. Mitch.

Thanks Mitch, that helps very much. I know when I need to buy an item I know what I am willing to pay for it. But i normally don't try to sell parts so pricing them for me is a real pain. I just thought someone that might need some of these parts would know what they were willing to pay and make an offer for what they may need. Buzzzz! wrong again. I have tons of parts I do not any longer need, and these are just a few.

I think most of the guys on this site don't need them, have never purchased them or are racers who could care less about stock parts most of the time.

I paid $150 for good dash pad like this one about 6 years ago. That's about all I can add.

Maybe get a feel for what people are paying for it on EBay then list them for10-15% less just to move them.

It's not a game of what it's worth. It's a game of what people will pay.

Got a right fender for a 68 Roadrunner by any chance?

Trimmer, do you have any 68 GTX interior parts? specifically the pass side wood grain insert. or front white armrests. PM me if you do please. :D

Don't know if I asked before, but I'm STILL looking for a fairly priced, clean, straight passenger fender for a 66 Coronet. Prefer a 440 fender but if it's clean and straight...

I must have missed a post where you said you were thinking about thinning the herd or selling parts. I currently have 3 cars I would need parts for. 66 Charger, 70 Coronet and a 65 Sport Fury. If you had a list of what cars you have and whats for sale. I'm sure people would beat down your door to get cars or parts. If I knew what you had I for one would make a trip.

I could use a 68 Coronet Hood and trunklid and other other parts for a 68 RT or a 70 RR if you have them. PM me if you have one or both. BTW those parts look to be in excellent shape. I would consider posting on your area Craigslist and on ebay. you've got the pics. Just hold it together and realize that a lot of folks don't need your particular parts at the same time you are selling them because they are fixing something else which has their priority at the time, don't have the cash in hand to stock up so they buy what they need not what they want, etc.

You have some very nice parts but they don't fly off the shelf unless you price them fairly attractively. I think everything you have pics of here will sell quickly enough if you search ebay and CL to see what others are asking then cut the price by I don't know 30-40% which would be more profitable than throwing them in a sinkhole or landfill.

I would price the tan lower dash pad and glove box pad at $125 and I'll bet it will sell quickly enough .. but don't just list it here. Guys are fixing projects up and setting priorities. I myself have passed up several parts I either wasn't quick enough too or because if i start buying all the parts I want and need I'll never get done with the project.
And the balancing and convincing act with the wife is a whole nother matter brother. Be patient and experiment with pricing. If you have a ton of stuff and you sell a few things too cheap you'll at least learn from doing it, pricing, dealing with buyers, shipping, etc. You'll have experience and get naturally better at doing it.

I'm talking out my ***, but I've bought, traded and sold a lot of stuff over the years and that's how I've always learned .. doing' it. If you have the stockpile it sounds like a few undersales will build a great rep and be a cheap lesson and build great customer rapport.

OK I'm done. Best wishes now post the stuff I need .. 68 R/T and 70 RR stuff. :)

Trimmer,
In my experience there are some parts just nobody wants and I sit on them for a while then scrap or pitch em. I was able to sell the clusters out of my 67 parts cars for around $100 each but the rest of the dash is another story. I scrapped the frames after a year of nobody wanting them, i still have all of the switches which I just decided to keep as spares. I had to damn near give away the heater boxes at a swap meet to avoid bringing them home again. I attempted to give away a /6 904 auto to a guy who was interested and he wouldn't take it.

But then there are other things that if you had 40 of em you could sell all day. Price it what you feel you can get for it and then just drop until it sells...I made $35 on a set of rally wheels with trim rings and caps....but I don't need to hoard it so I just went with it.

guys went easy.what they said sounds accurate to me...trial and error and some patients...i need a 69 coronet 500 tail panel and lights...pms me if you have one.
thanks!and good luck.
