Greetings from Concord NC.

Found this forum a while back and have been perusing the contents and the fantastic work of the members with restoring their Mopars. Bought myself a 1967 Belvedere Convertible a couple years back, and have started to work on the restoration. My progress got sidelined for a bit, but I'm back on the project and have some things happening now. Don't get as much time as I'd like to work on it, but anytime in the shop is good time !

Will start a new thread and post some pictures of the progress.

Thanks to all the great ideas that I've seen on this site, I'm going to "borrow" a few of them for my project - glad to be aboard !

Welcome aboard from Rockingham. You sure are in the ideal area for finding parts to finish that project with.

Don't have many - need to get more

Welcome Can't wait to see some pics. Good luck with the restos. Bruce

Looking through my pictures, and can't believe I don't have a pic of my car. Got it with no motor or trans and put it in the garage to protect it from the elements, and forgot to get a picture of it. Shot these in the garage to show them to you.

Not the best picture - but you'll get the idea.

Here's the really bad body parts I'll need to deal with

Planning on putting a post out there with my restoration work.

This is my first time, so I'm learning on the way. This forum has been a great help and I hope to get this thing put together and running someday.

Currently working on welding in the new floor pans and want to add Sub-frame connectors.

By the way the plans are:
- 5.7L Hemi
- Tremec 5-speed

Thanks

Thanks - it's great here in NC. But, if we get anymore rain this year I might have to consider trading in my car for a boat . . .

Yes, the track is probably about 5 miles as the crow flies from my house - I can hear the cars running during the race. Had a race here this past weekend, good time to work on the car as everything in town is PACKED with people ! !

They also host a great Car and Swap meet every Spring and Fall at the track - tons of parts, and cars ( the Spring show is HUGE - the Fall show is much smaller ). If you want to look for parts or deals on cars, you may want to check it out. It goes by the name Food Lion Auto Fair.

Thanks for the compliment on the car - I like it too ! ! ( grin )

Thanks snakeyes . . . haven't even thought about color yet as I'm still in the repairing mode . . . but making great progress. Got some ideas, but still not worrying about it . . . yet. I know I'll be battling that battle soon !

Welcome from Maryland

Thanks for the welcome . . . it's great to be here - great group, wish I would have found it earlier - the car has been sitting for 4 years as I tried to figure out what to do with it and how to accomplish it. It was the treads on this site that got me pointed in the right direction . . . now I'm digging into it with some gusto !

Project continues . . . current status . . .

The work on the Belvedere is moving along quite nicely, and it even got pulled out of the shop this weekend to attempt to get some better pictures of the car.

Here's where the project is now ( we've got a shell ) . . . from the driver's side
