FBBO team,

Well, I finally had to replace my 46 year old fuse-link on the 'ol 67 Coronet 440. I'll post a few pics on it, but this sucker lasted a very long time, and I'm going to keep the remains and make a plaque or something.

Not that this is anything major, but considering how many posts I've read about the fuse-link on an A/C B Body machine being such a pain in keester, well I thought I should make a tribute to mine.........

i dont believe my 69 RR even has one of those things. what would be the worst case scenario without one of those?

If things go south, burn/ignite the the main power wire into the car and then to the ammeter. Maybe roast some marshmallow's, songs by the fire....

You need to get one installed 69. In-line fuse would work just as well

I think it is fair to say that the fusible link pictured above has done it's job well. :)

....and it has. I will just keep it as a reminder that old stuff, done right, lasts ten times longer than any crap-ol-a sold today.

......please add one ASAP sir. The unit is a slow-blow type, and given the AMETER issues that can arise, a fire can happen in dash when under load or not.......

Just for laughs..

Maybe the link NEVER WORKED in the first place? Have you considered that? ....Only joking :)
