as you can see I need a fender and whole front area. the radiator support is damaged. hood is bent. chrome bumber bent. but my concern is the inner fender is pushed in also. no damage to firewall or engine. no damage to frame of car as far as I can tell. needs front alignment. is it better to cut out the inner fender and get a piece from a donor car or have a body guy do his magic or sell it?

what the hell did you get tangled up with? what to do with the car now, depends on how much sentimental value it has to you. i would pull off all the bolted on sheet metal to get a better look deeper inside. sad seein that:eek:
btw, insurance?

it was raining and slid into a a 2002 FORD FOCUS! I have insurance.

Look at the door to fender gap on the drivers side and see if it might be a little more than normal. A hit that went all the way back into the apron surly tweaked the frame some. If you can get under that side and look at the frame for a little dimple, ripple, wrinkle compared to the other side. As alsant has said give her the love she needs, that will be a visit to the frame rack for piece of mind. My .02.

To the frame rack, then inner metal, then replace the outer metal. Back running in no time

Pretty much this.

It's tweaked, for sure.

My guess; fender, inner fender, hood, hinges(?), bumper, headlight bezel, core support....gonna be expensive. :(

the cost of repair will probably go past its value
how bad do you want it?

Damn Fords anyway! :angryfire:

Glad YOU are OK - can get this one fixed or buy another. I'd rather be going to the frame restoration shop than the hospital or physical therapy.

Good luck with your repairs, that's why we have insurance.

When I hit a deer with my duster an 55mph State Farm paid the whole repair bill. Took it to a local shop and they did a great job. Took a little longer to track down parts, which I helped with and gave them the bills. It was over $5,000

its a unitized body and yes it can be fixed will need to go on the bench and pulled and put back to factory specs., lets see a photo of your front door to fender align.

It's an old Mopar. It's worth fixin. Tear it down and see just how bad it is. I'm sure the FBBO family can help with the parts you need. I would take it to a good frame shop and get it jigged up to make sure everything is where it should be. Bruce

if you want at home you can measure your engine compartment x it out, you can get the frame charts and upper body measurement charts also

With 42 years in the body shop/restoration business I can tell you FIX IT!!! That is not hurt that bad. Looks like the apron and fender took most of it. Wish I was close to you so i could do it. You're ok that's whats important. I agree with the other folks, pull off the sheet metal and get the frame checked, front of rail could be down some. Parts are available and you have insurance, Git 'er done. Best of luck.

Tear it down as far as you can then take it to a frame shop have them check it and fix what you can't. Then replace the sheet metal and get back to driving it. That will save you on some labor cost.

Glad you are OK and it looks to be repairable but i would have the frame and unibody checked as it looks like it is could be down and side swayed. Should you need parts I have a repairable front fender here for $50

a RR hood for with inserts for $125 and at least one very nice complete front bumper, price on it would depend on if you need all of the bumper/rein/brackets/guards. PM me if i can help with parts and hope you get back on the road soon
