attaching GTX rear deck emblem on 70

Can someone show me a picture of what the "nut" (9420 263 from the manual) looks like to attach the GTX emblem to my decklid? There is no hole inside the trunk to get a barrel nut on the back of the emblem pin. I will drill one if I have too but would prefer to understand how they were originally held on. From the length of the center pin I would guess that there is a 'wall-molly' type of thing that sits in the hole and expands when the emblem is forced in. Thanks to let me know how it is done and if possible where I can get the "nut".
