New look of my 70 coronet

nice ride, i have a '70 Coronet as well, working on getting the motor started. Are some pics of my project. i like what you did with the gauges, i had the same idea. I squeezed in three instead of two in the radio slot. Plan on doing the black steel wheels with the dog dish hub caps as well. Awesome '70 ! I love the six-pack hood on the Coronet,it's like the one from the Hustle Stuff accessories catalog of the era.I like it better without the dog dish caps,most likely because of the color and hood-reminds me of the '69 M-code B-body.That said I like the Red '69 Charger posted better with the caps,color maybe...Nice hotrod and a Six-Pack under the scoop to boot!

you know what would look kinda cool (sorry purists)...if the dust stripe coming out of the side scoop like on the 70 RR but with a super bee at the fender and the dust stripe black
 
you just might have something there....surprised nobody has done this.

On my 70 Bee I cant make my mind up on the steel rim color. Im thinking of painting the wheels on 1 side the body color & the wheels on the other side black until I can decide which way to go.

yes...i got some flack about painting my hi-beams..but i like em and it's my ride so...there ya go!
 
personally i like black wheels with hi impact colors. its your car do what you want.

My hi beams are not painted the lenses are amber. picked them up from the local parts store.
 
I really like the stance and set up the trend seems to be moving back to the mean late 60s early 70s style clean minor tasteful mods. The 70 coronet is in a class all it's own.
 
it has been a long time since i posted. life gets in the way i guess.
