Hey guys i'm just wondering anyone knows how a blower would look on a 69'? (Pictures?) I was pretty set on building a stroker but i'm wondering how a blower would look on top (Maybe even on my 318 or a fairly mild build big block?) I've never seen one on a 69' roadrunner at least not with the 3 barrel intake like i want I'm not sure if it would look out of place on my car but i'm just wondering, also i heard they aren't street safe on a carb'd motor? If so this won't work... I asked someone awhile back with a blown 340 who told me they can blow up on the street. But i'm pretty sure alot of pro street cars drive on the road with them?

I know a guy with a blown pro street 383 Challenger and he's had it together for a long time. I think the key is to under drive the heck out of it, but in my opinion that's a waste of a blower. A blower will create plenty of vacuum for the carbs so no issues there. If it's for the look you're going for then do it. I know it can be done. Heck, if people can put a lung on a small block Chevy and drive it on the street......

Oh yeah, and don't you dare cut a hole in a RR hood!!!!

Not mine ! But looks nice.

I have been terrorizing the area for over 20 years with this car,the last 10 with a 1071 BDS blower.Street drivin' don't blow 'em up,it's the CONSTANT BEATING they receive to keep the smile on yer face:idea1:Just get a flat fiberglass hood and I'll show ya how to cut it:icon_rambo:

WAY!!!! Cool, Hey Hemi- wanna come biuld a hood for me?:tongue8::toothy9:

Thanks guys they look badass but my problem is once thats done it isn't quite as street able? I mean you lose alot of your view and whatnot? I wish there was enough room to lower the motor so just the intake stuck out but my headers and oil pans are already barely off the ground.

Yes,the right fender is hard to see:bootyshake:If this is your daily driver in all weather, you would be better off with a pro charger.

Todds RR01.jpgRoad Runner 005 [800x600].jpgThis is my cousins car. apart now, sold body engine is now going in a 69 charger. very streetable!!!

I second the pro charger, it's a good sleeper action, as much as you can be! I for one never thought a blower looked good due to the air grabber set up. Unless you swap a satellite non air grabber hood, that could work.

Car looks great, got her all repainted & fixed I see, after the little mishap/bump in the nose... awesome

me likey too, seen that a few times, I wonder if he ever got it sorted out ??... It was a guy on Canadian street cars forum who owned it, If I remember correctly anyway, it was quite a few years ago now, haven't been on there in a long time, a mod from Car Craft wanted me to help get them going, I don't think it ever really took off {the site, not the car}, too slow.... I stay around here pretty much anyway....
