This '67 Satellite is owned by a friend of mine, his dad ordered it for his mom. The car remains completely unrestored, paint, interior etc. My buddy added the Cragars a few years ago, but still has the original hub caps and whitewalls just in case he wants to put it back to stock condition. It's an original 318 car (which it still has), the car has 60,000 original miles. 058.jpg059.jpg060.jpg061.jpg062.jpg063.jpg064.jpg065.jpg066.jpg

Head restraints

body colored glove box and inst panel with a b&w int.

Never seen that.

It's actually wood grain inserts. I had a few 67's Belvederes...including a GTX and had never seen it, maybe a Sport Satellite deal?, I did see a Satellite at the junk yard in the 80's that had the same treatment come to think of it...wasn't sure if it was stock then. This one did come like that...I've known the car/owner for 30 years now.

Question;
i was looking at the window sticker for info and it says "Body Accent Stripes-Black"
but the stripes on that car look silver.
Also, it says "Bumper Guards Front",
but there's no bumperettes on that car.
Were these errors from the dealer/factory, or did the owner alter it?

Awesome car and great story. Love the license plate number too.

Funny you mention the plate, (those are the originals), when my buddy was in high school in '72 he bought a '67 440 GTX...that he'd park next to the Satellite in the garage and he snapped a picture of the cars side by side, he said: "You've got the 440", (UVE440). To this day he still gets a chuckle out of that when he tells the story.

The bumper guards are there....look harder. They are not the typical bumperettes like you are thinking.

Beautiful car, please don't mind the drool...

Ahhhhhh, those things hide in plain sight lol.

Im still curious about the lower body stripe though, window sticker says black, but the stripe in that Satty. is silver/gray.
