I was wandering where the carpet is supposed to be cut (at the door) , does it go up against the pinch seam at the door or over it? Looks to me that it's supposed to go against not over, pics would be great. Thanks

It is best to go over the pinch seam.Holds the carpet in place better when screwing the skuff plate down. The body shop cut mine too short and it kept pluuing away. Ended up replacing the carpet.

That's the way I have it now but the door hits the sill but then again I don't have it screwed down on the inside.

had a prob with door rubbing the sill plate with carpet over the pinch.custom trimed it to but up tight(kinda had to tuck it in).worked great with no pull back.

one thing about cutting holes and trimming carpet. You may want to take an old soldering iron and melt all exposed edges. This will prevent cathing a thread and pulling a complete line on carpet out. Stitched edges are ok because they are adready protected. This is very important on seat bolt holes
