Finding original engine

Hello B body fans, I have exhausted my connections here in Wyoming where the original engine for my 70 RR was taken out and sold to someone "east". Are there any suggestions as to the best way to "investigate to locate" this six pack engine. RM23V0G2096XX is the vin minus the last 2 digits. Please let me know if you have ideas to locate this.
