Gonna assemble and put the whole dash assembley in my 68 charger in the next week or two. Took the metal frame out and got it powder coated and have all the dash pads, instrument cluster and all the bits and pieces i think to put it together and back in the car.. Just wondering if theres any tips for when i go about installing everything. I wanna do everything once and right. Thanks guys

Really just make sure everything is already installed in the dash. I forgot about the dash speaker so I get to tackle that when I get one. Install both side bolts before putting the dash in. You only need to put them in a few threads so you can simply swing the dash assembly up and start installing the screws along the top. I bunched up a blanket and rested the dash assembly on that in the down position so I could hook up things with it down, it made it a little easier.

Removing the steering wheel makes it easier, also a second person tp prevent scratches.

Yeah there's no real specific order for putting everything in, I'd say cluster first, then the trim plates, then the glove box/radio/speakers/etc, then the pads probably last. Nothing that's really too tricky

But if you hit any roadblocks or have any questions on anything feel free to shoot me a message, I'm actually finishing up assembling mine today

I'm assuming everything is already installed on the firewall such as the brake pedal assembly, heater box, etc... If not do that first.
