My 74 from the factory, was identical to that! Winchester Gray, stripes, 318, sunroof, ugly seats. But mine had a vinyl "landau" top. I thought that all sunroof cars had vinyl over the sunroof panel to cover-up the poor finish of them.

I also believe all s/r cars had at least canopy vinyl tops.
My 74 has had the vinyl removed, ant the fit and finish is absolutely perfect.
Actually better than my 73 Sat non vinyl car, and no signs of additional work.
Guess they did that just to be safe.
