I think that I will be buying a new wiring harness from YearOne and was just looking for tips or warnings for wiring things back up. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Disconnect the battery first. If the dash is still in the car pull out the bucket seats that will make it easier to get under the dash.

I replaced all my wiring with the M&H harnesses. As I disconnected each wire connector I wrapped it with tape and numbered it, then i went to the new harness which I laid out, found the corresponding connector and marked that with the same number. Even though its not a difficult job it made it easier because mine was a low option car (factory radio delete, no console etc) and not all connectors are used. Also used dielectric grease on bulkhead connection.

Removing the gauge cluster gives you easier access to removing the old harness & laying in the new harness. Much easier sitting up vice lying on your back...
