I'm looking for a nice condition / gently used deep trans pan for a 727. I like the Hughes, B&M, TCI etc. Wanting aluminum with fins for cooling, preferably with cooling fins, drain plug, any filter extensions or parts required to run your deeper pan so it's a bolt on affair.

I will be wanting to see pictures so be prepared :) PM me and I'll send you my email address. I'll be looking for a shipped to 62258 price.

Thanks for the AD FBBO and anyone who responds.

I figured there would be a few PMs on this item. Anyone got one you want to get rid of or are you just getting the pics in order? please PM

It's the thing that holds in all the tranny fluid that dumps it on your head and chest when you need to change said fluid. I'd like one with a drain plug so it doesn't do that and preferably has some fins for cooling. Some of you have these things you aren't going to use and could sell them to me so you could buy some other parts.

Did you ever find a pan ? I have one from TCI (?) In great shape just need to find it. LOL!! Let me know and I will look for it.

I got Mopar Performance no fins. Complete w/extension was put on once and taken off
let me know if wedge 69 hasn't got what u need

I bought the B&M deep pan #BMM10280 for $145 from Mancini Racing. It looks very nice and has a port for temp gauge and a plug if you don't use a gauge. Comes with drain plug, too.

OK I Found it !
I was wrong as it sosn't have the temp hole BUT dose have a magnetic drain plug PLUS the filter extention AND Stainless hardwhere ! Here is a pic of it . As you can see its like new and in nice shape. If you want it I will do $160. To Your door.
Thats Pan,Shipping, PayPal fees. All in one price. Cost me close to $200 if not more some years ago. Don't think it has 300 miles on it as I didn't run the slush box long .
Just let me know. I will stand 100% behind it as we do on all parts out of my shop !!
Plus it adds 2 QURT to your tranny.
Thanks

No its the same :angry1:. Man thay came Down in price since I bought mine !
That being said make me an offer as I want to be fair :icon_fU:

For what it's worth, due to the thicknesss of the finned aluminum pan it does nothing the steel pan won't do except cost you more money. If in doubt, check both with a infra red gun.

Thanks Jim. I'm looking for more than just alum vs steel. Slightly deeper ... like 2 quarts not radical, drain pug, and I thought the cooling fins would help.

Why don't they? Are you saying the thicker aluminum with fins holds the same heat as thinner steel?

The infra gun just tells you its temp. Not that it may be Disapating more heat out of the oil and trans.
You would need a good temp gauge for that .

There was an article in Mopar Muscle about this an issue or two ago. Dropped fluid temp by 10 degrees as I recall. I'd be intrested if it dont sell.........................

Thanks for the input. What was the net result of the test/article? Do the finned aluminum pans cool engines better than stock or no?

Well INMO I would say anytime you put an aluminume fin out in the air it will Cool the contents better than a Flat steel pan !
Dosn't matter to me as I rin a stick. so if somebody wants this pan shoot me a offer !
