Just trying to save anyone the hassle and the money of being ripped off by the same dickbags that took me a couple years back. The government caught them and I got back some of the money but here we are two years later and they are trying it again....I reported it to eBay but it is still listed. Item number 221292737344 1969 Plymouth road runner. For some reason I can't post a link or I would. If you have bid on this car....RETRACT YOUR BID NOW!!!!!! I find it complete b.s. that after I called eBay still allows this car to be listed. I got took....don't be the next one!!!!! I also find it ironic that it says in the shipping tab the car does not ship to Illinois...... wonder why? Could be that's where I'm from? They have been using this same car since 2006 to scam people. 2 years ago when I got scammed I did a bunch of research and found this same car, pictures, description and all on many other websites and it always said the car was in different locations. There I have done my part to save you all from making the same mistake I did, even though its kinda embarrassing to admit I got took by some piece of sh@# like that.....please consider yourself warned!!!!

I'm not a member on moparts or a lot of the other forums so please spread the word!!!!

i would never even look at a car like that with a brand new ebay # and no feed back, just a scam waiting to happen.

Looks like at least 3 people don't know it's a scam :( 26 bids, and I would guess that 3 of the bidders are tied up with the original scammer. The advert does look reasonably legit, but that username and feedback along with the start price would get me a little suspicious.

It needs one of us who know its a scam to put a ridiculous bid (eg$100k) with no intention of getting it !
that way it will protect innocent bidders being scammed.

Thanks. All of us could or might be "taken" at least once.

Seller posts 4 pictures of a pristine, restored, Road Runner. My brother, whom has spent a considerable amount of time perusing Mopars on ebay for the past 4 or 5 years, will not even consider looking at a car like that if the seller only posts 4 pictures.

I can't imagine fleabay won't do anything on your behalf. Sorry to hear about your bad luck and I hope someone catches up with this prick.

....And thanks for posting this!!

getting to be a ton of A-holes on ebay lately....I've had to post my 67 GTX......TWICE......& got douchebags both times....first time guy was high bidder from second day of auction, then pulled his bid with 24 hrs left, dropping the price $1600....and then next guy in line, went and found a different car thus lowering 3rd highest bidder below reserve...WTF!!!
then second time around (auction just ended Monday) no reply from winning bidder to my nor ebay's messages or emails & no deposit made....I hate these F'n jackasses!!!

I was getting ready to send a money order. Thought it was odd the address to send the money to was in Nigeria.

These people were based in California when they took my money. They got caught but must not have learned.....same user name but they had a bunch of positive feedbacks when it happened to me.

Well....they weren't very helpful when I got took. They also weren't very helpful a couple days ago when I reported it. I even found a good number for eBay and called and told them about it and the car is still on there....eBay is worthless.

I was meaning what I hear other people say when they loose money on a internet scam by sending cash to some guy in Nigeria. I wasn't referring to your situation. I hate it you loss money on a ebay scam.

Looks as if eBay must of took it down......AWESOME!!!!!! Hopefully all this helped someone not get taken by these *** clowns!!!!! Thanks to everybody who helped get the word out!!!!
