lets see mopars under construction

I know a guy that had a '70 Bee, B-5 HEMI 4 spd car that sat along side his garage outside in the elements for 25+ years. I ran in to him years ago and asked about it. He said he still had it and was going to restore it............

It's been at least 10 years since I asked, I hope he did something with it. Everyone knew what it was, so hopefully if he did not, someone bought it and did.

Man this is hard to look at. I believe there were only 39 Superbees built in 1970 that were Panther Pink if what I have read is correct. Anyone else know if that is correct. Plus the place I got that info says only 4 came with a 4 speed transmission.QUOTE=snakeyes;909969661]View attachment 149827

It's a long journey, and a guy has to wonder if the end will ever come. Still behind schedule.

Poly 1963 - Of my Roadrunner or of that Baddass Charger?

Duda - That is some CLEAN work going on! Very impressive it's going to be a gorgeous car!

A little construction/upgrade over the winter. New motor, new PST front sway bar, stainless brakes lines, new master cylinder to replace the leaking one, new Glen Ray radiator, massive clean up in the engine bay. I was amazed at how much damage the leaking brake fluid did to the frame.

Hydrogen, thanks the project got way out of control. I guess this happens to all men. My original plan was to just kind if re do the car, like freshen it up.

Duda I know the feeling... But if you're gonna do it might as well do it right and to your standards... looks like you have high standards :)

I love the color of your charger. You will have to post some pictures of both cars.

The Charger isn't mind it just happened to be in the shop with mine where my winter bucket list is getting done. I'll try to keep pics up of mine as some changes get made this winter and if I can I'll keep everyone updated on the Charger progress as well

Interesting story behind that Charger in the RT stripe I noticed it was custom lettered Seizure RT. The owners son suffers from epileptic seizures and finds solace in this restoration project with his dad so as someone else is doing the work they are making the decisions about the car together.

Beside the Charger is a 68 Firebird and beside my car is a 70 Nova but the GM's didn't warrant pictures!

Getting ready for a little underhood freshen up and black repaint. You can see the new bulkhead from the rewire that is mostly completed (other than underhood components of course) Gonna give the brake components a different look too and probably spray them cast. The white rear quarter you can see belong's to 4eyedblonde's Savoy. I should have snapped more pics but got distracted by all the car goodness!

I didn't realize it was an oddity I'll see if I can figure out how it made it's way in there it was in the car when I bought it

I've been looking at it lately thinking I would like to take some leather dye to it to make it more black but glad you like the overall appearance.

Thanks man and like I said if I can see what might have been done to make it work I'll def. let you know

not a B...... but if this isn't a "mopar under construction", nothing is
