Good morning!

I have an Edelbrock carb on the Charger. The end of the throttle cable that hooked to the car broke off and I don't see an easy safe fix so looks like I need to change the cable.

First question...which one should I buy? I see some on Ebay for about $60. Is there a better aftermarket one to buy?

How difficult is this replacement? Does the whole pedal assembly have to come out?

Thanks for the help

Check out the lokar cables and the jegs throttle brackets are a nice addition.

They come either with or without the firewall grommet already attached. I always buy the ones with the grommet in place.

You know what? I just had a brain fart or something. I for some reason was thinking about speedo cables. Disregard my previous post. I did get a throttle cable recently from Mega Parts though. Sorry for the confusion.

Here are used cables if you decide to go that way. http://www.forbbodiesonly.com/mopar...70s-Charger-Road-Runner-GTX-Coronet-Satellite
To remove the cable you do not have to remove the pedal assy all you do is remove the small black push in retainer plug at the end of the pedal rod where the cable end goes through which is similar to the plug at the end of a bic pen. Then there is a small U-Shaped clip on the interior side where the cable goes through the firewall slide it up off and the cable will pull right out. Pm me if you are looking for a stock replacement used cable

Thanks Moparparts for the info.
I would have bought a cable from you for sure but earlier today I got a repop off eBay. I should have done a search first to find your post.
