SOLD 18 spline hemi box 4 speed pro shifted!!

Hi,

This is probably a long shot, but I have an 18 Spline Hemi Box trans that I would like to sell. Was in my dad's shop or mine for the last 20 years. Needs a new home.

Here is what I know:

Mechanically complete

Turning the inputshaft by hand you can "go through the gears" seems to function as it should.

It is missing a couple of the bolts for the side plate/cover.

Has casting # C99129 on the main case and uses the 3.125" Dia #307 Bearing

Short 12.5" Extension housing.

4.354" Dia bearing retainer with an adapter ring to go to 4.807" Dia

Shifter is included, it would probably function fine if gone through, but I have no idea what year/body style it should / would fit. If I were to run it I would use an in-line shifter. FWIW

At a minimum this trans needs to be sealed up before being run.

gtx, can you tell me what exactly you mean by pro shifted. are you talking about the super shifter or has the trans been modified on the inside like a crash box? thank you, john.

you should pull the side cover and shoot a few pics of the internals, that will tell alot about the condition of the proshift rings. being its got an A body tail shaft id put it on for a bodies only. might get more interest. the fact it says no snap ring on the side of the tail shaft, it probably should come apart unless you know any different.

This trans does not have syncronizers in it! It is "pro shifted"

Hey 68 hemi, that is a good idea, I had the cover off the gears do look good. Anyway, there is NO WAY I would run this (or any other ) old 4 speed with out someone going through it.
