Ok, there's a cast iron 6 pack intake for sale with an extremely early date in the for sale forums. Has the same part number as the normal early cast intake. I'm not trying to step on anyone, but, the remains of blue paint indicate that it is from a boat, because if you look closely, the blue is under the orange. Then, I started thinking, Chrysler's marine division being much smaller than the car division, were they getting the cast iron intakes first? Bare Aluminum and ocean air not seeming a good idea to me, it would make sense that they would use iron. Anyway, does anyone know for sure? Just my idle curiosity.

I have a bunch of photos I saved from a thread about the 1970 Marine 440 6-bbl, I don't remember what years they were made, but the photos are of a 1970 IIRC

Yep, I started the last thread...I have one downstairs (intake and carbs), just was hoping someone had found more information.

Did you have this for sale in the early summer n could take it to carlie if some one purchased it .

I had one I was willing to bring to Carlisle to sell, but that was just the intake.
