non title states?????

i got a 76 car with bill of sale, thru experience i know Ga, Al., didn't keep up with titles on 74 and older cars, question is : do any states not keep up with titles on 76 cars??? this may not be the correct spot for this but it is sorta technical!!!! i'm in Missouri. thanks for any info.

I know in Georgia all you need is a Bill Of Sale on 1985 and back.

If you know anyone over in Kansas take it over there. In Kansas you tow the car to the state police and they take the numbers and run a check on them if the check comes back good they will give you the paper work to get a title.
