1970 charger re creation

I agree, Cool project, I think all the Chargers are great and ive got a magazine here ive read a couple dozen times about a 70 HEMI Charger, black on black all original except the cam he changed in it, there's something about it, maybe the black and of course Hemi, but i somehow manage to look it over every now and then, they sure are a great looking car! Good luck with it!!!

Thanks. The suspense is driving me nuts waiting to hear from the frame guy that its done. He does more collision work and he is super busy. I have a feeling that my charger is not a high priority. However, I have taken vehicles to him in the past and his work is worth the wait. I had to bug the hell out of him just to get it fit in!

nice project, its a big one though! take your time and keep at it. i think it will be an awsome car when done!

Picked it up from getting the frame pulled a couple days ago, been busy. Sorry for the crappy cell pics, will have my digital on me next time.

You've gotten some major work accomplished.

One more set. For every large panel replaced there are always many smaller patches to be made. Had to repair this on both sides.

The bottom of the a-pillar at the bottom of the windshield area is a problem spot that I am sure some people don't even realize is weak on their cars. There are really nice spots inside there for water to sit and it can't drain out.

That's some serious progress, great job on all of the surgery.

Thanks, the progress is steady.

Floor looks good. Are you putting any seam sealer on when you primer?

Seam sealer will just burn up with the welding process, I am going to seam seal after all the welding is done.
