Can anyone tell me the difference in 68 -69-70, Coronet power window motors. I am trying to replace mine 1968 , when I do a compatabilty check, it says 69-70 motors do not work for a 68 car ? I would think they are the same. I am not sure what I am missing ? Thanks

All motors are the same with the exception of right and left units. In fact I think all the motors Chrysler used were the same all through the sixties and into the '70s, just the mounting brackets are particular to each model. What's wrong with your old one?, does the motor spin and not move the glass? If so there's a cheap and easy fix for them but if the motor is shot you'll have to replace.

Thanks, but now you have e hanging , what is the easy fix ?

Actually, all the way into the mid to late 80's.

Same for headlight door motors.

Oh my god! I stumbled on this, I know it is an old post, but what a goldmine that link to forcbodiesonly is for MOPAR guys with power windows..I know what I'm doing this weekend!
