Tom Bean, Texas, just south-east of Sherman. Thought I'd get back into the swing of things, back to working on my project. Finally wound up with a shop to work out of.
My project is a 64 Plymouth Sport Fury, that I've slowly re-built from the ground up...to every nut and bolt on board. Not building the car to numbers, since it was a 383 car. Have a 440 that's going into it, with a console shift torqueflight. Changed out front and rear axles, brakes, and such to update all the running gear.
'If' I get this thing back in one piece, it will be my daily driver, for the most part.

That's good for now. Just saying hello to all. Miller

Welcome from up here in Massachusetts ! And I agree with "eric383" , Lets see some pictures !

Thanks for the welcomes, Gents. I'll work on getting some pics up, but I'll have to get 'em on the pc first.
I've had the 64 for a while, wanting to make it a replacement for my first car. That one was a 63 Sport Fury ragtop...that was a long time ago. The 64 sat dead in a field for 7 years, actually not too far from where we live now, then was picked up and sat at a car outfits yard for another 2 years, before I got it. Sounds normal, except...I drove in a 69 plain jane Dodge Charger, and swapped even for the dead 64.

Welcome to the site! Good luck with the project and post pictures of your progress.

Thanks to all for the welcomes! As soon as I can find my pics, I will post some. Just moved here six months ago, and much is still in boxes.

Well...blast it...haven't been able to find my pics, yet. Promise, as soon as I do, I'll post 'em. Heck, it's just another red 64, but at least I've got my hands on it.
At least, I can say a little on my mopar history. My first car, as mentioned was a 63 Sport Fury ragtop. Kinda weird how I got into it...a hs graduation present from my old man...he made the down on it, and I paid the rest. The old man had lined up a used car dealer, so when we got there the dealer had three cars out. This was 65-66 in Hayward, Cal, and the three cars were a 63 Vette, a 64 Goat, and the 63 Plymouth. Flat out, the old man said...can't have the Vette, the Goat is too fast, your gettin' the Plymouth!
Can't say if it's true, but when I drove the thing around the block, with the dealer, he told me it was an ex CHP chase car. At any rate, it drove mighty fine. Had the car several years, including all the way to Texas, up to when I traded the car in for a new 69 Road Runner. Lol. Got home that night, decided to go back to the dealer the next morning to decide whether to buy the 63 back. Couldn't find it. Asked the used car dealer where it was...he slapped his hands together...they had sent the 63 to the crushers.

Just took this photo, as she sits in the new shop. Just need to get things set up, and then get work done. red 64.jpg
