I am hoping somewhere out there a Mopar enthusiast knows about the following Superbird.

Back in 2006 an Alpine White Superbird was given a light restoration by a company called Frankman Motors of Sioux Falls SD. Frankman Motors worked with Kevco Classic Cars to eventually sell the car when the restoration was complete. At that time it was a 2 owner car and I am trying to find out more of the early history, owners and where it was sold when new. It has a 440-4 with auto and bench seat. The car may have been a different color before restoration and it was brought back to its EW1 code.

If anyone knows something about the car it would be appreciated to share any information.

do you ever get any info on your bird ?

Someone I know allegedly sold an alpine white Superbird a few years ago, maybe more, to someone who "restored" it She's a woman so info could be in-exact LOL.

It was a bird and I think she gave me some pics and if i recall correctly it was a different color when they sold it. I'll check with her and see where the buyer was from.

I DO NOT want to see that...
In 1987 I drove a White Bird in Dayton Ohio.
For sale, owner: Kenny Justice
He wanted $2,500 for it.
I passed.
White Ext/Blue interior, Column shift.

Will some one please KICK ME?

I worked at a gas station in 82, in Arizona, Had to ride my bike by the main station where a white superbird sat for $1200. It wasn't there when I rode by 45 min earlier for lunch. I went to the bank got cash, when I got to the corner I watched the car drive away with new owner behind the wheel.

I didn't buy or even go look at a lemon twist superbird in 1981 that was advertised withing 30 miles for $2,500. My Dad said "That'll do 140 mph you'll kill yourself in that".

I bought a 70 and a 68 RR within 6 months. I wish I'd pressed on buying the Superbird which looked freaking awesome in the black and white pic in the newspaper.

Thanks everyone, I spoke to the guy that did a light restoration on the car in 2006 but he has indicated he does not remember the car in detail. Not sure how you don't remember of all cars a Superbird that you worked on but its time to move on.

I found my Alpine White Bird in 1982 for $6,000.00. Original paint 6 bbl. auto, running and high mileage.RACE ENGINE, BIRD AND HARLEY 001.JPG

Dont let OBAMA see your garage.he might redistrbute your toys.

You guys are making me very ill....so much so that I could puke/cry all at the same time

The closest I got was a freshly restored Superbird at the California Spring Fling - $18,000 back in 1988 - quite a bit of cash even then.

I am curious with you being in NYS does any of the membership ever get pulled over where you don't have front license plates. Interesting how the one bird found a way to get theirs mounted.

BTW - all those winged cars in front of a Hooters - life is good.

I would like to see your blown ride tangle with the yellow cabs in mid town - nice ride and that's one heck of a blower setup.
